The Senkata plant supplies 40% of the national demand for LPG and covers the demand for bottles in the department of La Paz and part of the energy requirements of Beni and Pando, within the framework of the Government policy of strengthening the secure supply of fuels.
This work has infrastructure, equipment and technology in accordance with regulations established by the ANH and international standards, in such a way that they allow increasing the number of days of autonomy for the storage of liquid hydrocarbons in the event that an emergency arises and thus be able to maintain the supply. of fuels in the department of La Paz.
“The project includes the construction of 2 diesel oil tanks with a capacity of 10,000 m3 each, 2 special gasoline tanks with a capacity of 8,000 m3 each and a fire fighting system for all storage tanks,” explained Armin Dorgathen. , president of the state oil company.
The work carried out by the state oil company seeks to supply fuel to the different sectors of the country, keeping their prices stable, despite their increase in international prices due to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
