GRUPOCC had worked with 1200 employees during works in expansión and improvement of Milluni transfer to El Alto water reservoirs for drinkink water of the third largest city of Bolivia, El Alto.
A water transfer is a transfer of water that occurs, through hydraulic works, from a sending river basin to a receiving river basin. Water transfers are legal and regulatory agreements that define how much water resources are transferred each year or in what specific situations.
El Alto city, did not have enough drinking water for its entire growing population, until year 2020.
Bolivia has large freshwater natural reservoirs. With the execution of this project, El Alto has been able to overcome the barriers of social inequality for the provision of drinking water.
