Preparation of the EI (Identification Study) and TESA (Comprehensive Technical Economic, Social and Environmental Study) of the Huarina – Tiquina Double Track, based on the existing information on the Section and the studies and works necessary for the awarded company to carry out, to the satisfaction of the ADMINISTRADORA BOLIVIANA DE CARRETERAS (ABC) of the required products.
Construction and Quality Control of the 38 km Huarina – Tiquina Double Road, in strict accordance with the design resulting from the first stage of the contract, complying with the corresponding contractual documents.
Maintenance of the Huarina – Tiquina Double Road, for a period of 3 (three) years, after the conclusion of the construction stage.
The ABC complied with the deadlines and procedures of a public tender for the construction and supervision of the work that already has awarded companies, the total length of the new highway is 34 kilometers and will be built in 13 months.
The impact of the highway will occur at several levels; as well as the economic one, allowing the safe transportation of local agricultural production. It will also promote tourism development as it borders Lake Titicaca, also allowing transportation to a large center and tourist destinations such as Huatajata, Tiquina and Copacaban.
