CONSTRUCTION OF PHOTOVOLTAIC WATER WELLS FOR CONSUMPTION OF CAMELID CATTLE IN COMMUNITIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTIAGO DE MACHACA

We build deep and semi-deep wells, with the well driving technique.  Drilling trucks and flow control equipment were used. In this project we work in coordination with the social organizations that benefit from the investment.  Explaining to each of them the operation and maintenance of the equipment.  Training workshops and evaluations of correct learning and training were carried out. In total, 400 wells were built, each with its photovoltaic panel kit. The operation of the solar pump is completely adapted to the power supplied by the solar panels. The operating curve of the pumps is normal operation working at 50Hz, that is, working at 100%. Operating hours working at 100% depends on peak solar hours. Direct solar pumping systems do not need batteries, so their operation will vary depending on the hours and intensity of solar radiation. With this mechanism, the pump is activated when the solar panels begin to receive solar irradiation and produce photovoltaic energy at the beginning of the day, offering maximum performance in the central hours of midday and reducing its productivity at dusk until nightfall and the lack of energy. Sufficient PV causes the pump to stop. Therefore, it will depend completely on the daytime photovoltaic production of the panels, with variation depending on the season of the year. Estimating that in Winter there are 3.5 hours of solar radiation and in Summer 7 hours A solar pump uses photovoltaic panels to capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy, which is then used to power an electric motor that drives the pump. Its operation is simple and allows pumping from small to large amounts of water flow. There are two types of solar pumps: Surface solar pumps, which are used to irrigate small gardens or for watering livestock, while submersible solar pumps are used when the water source is at great depth or when it is necessary to move water over long distances. And they are mainly used for the irrigation of medium or large-sized agricultural farms. Current pumps can operate offering very high capacities. Damia Solar has a wide range of pumps, allowing you to reach heights of up to 190 meters of difference between the water level of the well and the place where you want to pump the water, and water flow rates of more than 15,000 liters of water. per hour. Therefore, solar pumps are a great invention that allows large amounts of water to be moved simply by using solar panels using the sun’s radiation. Thanks to their simple and direct operation of solar panels to a pump, their price is competitive and they have a quick payback, since they generate high water flows at zero cost for the user.
